PRESS RELEASE -Importer achieves 87% reduction in electric purchases from lighting efficiency and solar generation.  Renewable Power Inc (RPI):  announced that its client, Britannica Fashions located in Branchburgh, New Jersey, is now buying 87% less utility electricity after a lighting efficiency upgrade and the installation of a solar electric system.  The company’s 98,000 sq.ft warehouse contained 400 watt Metal Halide lighting fixtures, which were lit during all business hours.  The lighting efficiency upgrade replaced these inefficient fixtures with high-bay fluorescent fixtures with occupancy sensors.  Each new fixture turns off after the area below is no longer occupied.  The lighting upgrade reduced…
